Why Are There So Many People Here Answering Questions About Horoscopes When They Say They Are Non- Believers?

Astrology, like religion, has its believers and non-believers. I think that most people who come here like to argue from a state of having no knowledge whatsoever about the science of astrology.

It surprises me that there are so many people who come here who do not know anything about their charts except they're a Virgo, or a Leo, or whatever. They all seem to want to know what sign is compatible with another, which proves how little they know about astrology, when it is not the sign you have, but the whole chart in comparison with another that leads to an understanding of compatibility.

I think that many people think astrology is like Tarot or other divination means which simply start cold without knowing anything about an individual and answer a single question. Astrology isn't like that. It is a calculation of the position of the planets at the time of one's birth based on one's birth time, date, and place. It is unique for everyone, including identical twins because almost no one is born exactly the same time as another, and for those that share times and places, astrology recognizes that conception times are different for everyone. It doesn't answer a single question, but strives for understanding the individual as a whole.
