Cardinal signs are the fixed signs of the zodiac.?

there was a question about 4 months ago and i just saw it and a bunch of people had the wrong ideas about cardinal signs which means fixed, they are the signs that are fixed in their ways (taurus, leo, scorpio, aquarius) its hard to steer a taurus or a leo or a scorpio or a aquarius from their desired path..... any input would be wonderfull, i think the general public needs to know the right answer on that question...

There are three modalities in signs-- cardinal, fixed, and mutable. There are four elements in signs-- fire, earth, air, and water. There is no such thing as a cardinal fixed sign, but there are cardinal fire (Aries), cardinal earth (Capricorn), and cardinal water (Cancer). To go on:

Fixed air-- Aquarius
Fixed earth-- Taurus
Fixed water-- Scorpio
Fixed fire-- Leo

Mutable air-- Gemini
Mutable water-- Pisces
Mutable fire-- Sagittarius
Mutable earth-- Virgo

Cardinal signs are more outgoing for their needs; fixed signs are fixed in their ways; and mutables accept change better.

Fire signs are independent; earth signs are stable; air signs like communication; and water signs are emotional. Thus, a mutable air (Gemini) would be accepting of changes in means of communicating, a fixed water (Scorpio) would have a hard time changing opinions, and so on.
