What is the difference of being born on a cusp? My birthday is 04.21...I feel as though I am no different than the next Taurus woman.

There really isn't a cusp sign, Since mercury and venus rarely stray far from the sun, your mercury and venus will always be in one planet above/in your sun sign/or one below. This is why cusp people always exhibit signs of the one previous or down from them.
To really determine tho which sign you are in means you need to get your exact natal chart done. For instance my gdaughter was born 10/23 if she had been born in the morning she would have been a Libra, but she was born in the afternoon and was a scorpio with libra in Mercury.
So get your chart done and be proud no matter what sign you are.
