If born on a cusp, do you always have traits of both signs?

I am a Scorpio on the Libra/Scorpio cusp (10/24), and I see no Libra traits in me, whatsover. I am Scorpio Rising, Mercury and Neptune as well as the Scorpio sun.

It's a myth. It's something they say to explain why certain sun signs aren't always the exact same.

But in less mainstream astrology - the real thing - (as you well know ;) ) rising, moon, mercury, venus and mars are always definitely included. Mercury and Venus being the missing link as to why sometimes a certain sign acts like the previous sign when closer to that cusp.

When, for example the sun is in Scorpio, you are a Scorpio. If you're born on the cusp, like yourself, your Mercury can be in 2 signs. Mercury is always at the most 28° apart from the sun, so when the sun is 0° Scorpio, Mercury can either be in Libra or in Scorpio. If Mercury is in Libra, you have the typical train of thought as a libra, even though you're a Scorpio. If mercury is in scorpio, mercury will have - just like the sun - a scorpio influence and nobody will be any the wiser.

With Venus, the furthest it can be away from the sun is about 45°, so it can be in Virgo, Libra, Scorpio or Sagittarius. But usually it will be - when the sun is at 0° scorpio - in either libra or scorpio as well.

If both venus and mercury are in libra, you will have traits of both scorpio and libra - if they're in any other sign, you won't have the traits typically attributed to 'cusps'.
