can someone tell me why some aquarius and virgo work but some doesn't?

How cute your name is Cale! That's the name of the guy I'm currently dating and he's a Capricorn. Anyway, I'm a Virgo and I went out with an Aquarius. We work great as friends, in fact he is one of my best friends, but trying to do a relationship was too hard. I think Virgos are too conservative and reserved at times for Aquarians who seem to live life by the seat of their pants. Aquarians are very opinionated as well, and that is not a quality Virgos, at least myself, like. On a positive note, though, Aquarians can break down a Virgo's conservatism and bring out a side of a Virgo that they don't even know exist. A Virgo can give an Aquarian food for thought at times and teach them they don't always have to be so brash about everything.

Then again, don't put too much basis into this. Everyone says Capricorns and Virgos are a match made in heaven but I want to strangle the guy I'm dating every other day. In the end, your life experiences make you who you are.
