Aries and Cancer?

I am an Aries female and I'm currently seeing a Cancer male, from my past, I have not gotten along with Cancer males in relationships, do you think I could make this work, he's much older than me?

Aries & Cancer are naturally in a bad aspect called a square (90 degrees) which generates it's own obstacles & challenges. Both being cardinal signs, both are very strong in their own way. Astrology will only tell you the bad and good influences of the planets in your chart. You can always make it work...it just depends on how much you are going to accept, deny, and ignore. Don't battered wives stay in the domestic violence environment knowing they are going to be beaten down and maybe killed? From the short summary I gave you, which I couldn't go into greater depth without knowing his birth date; I would say no this will not work. You an extroverted woman. You have Venus in Gemini, which means that you usually have more than one man you are interested in at the same time because it is in your 7th house of partnerships. Your Moon and Mars is in Aquarius, which means you can change your emotions abruptly and drop whatever relationship you are involved in. I would venture to say you broke off the relationships with the Cancer males from your past, they did not.

Now, Saturn in Cancer is more like having a father instead of an active partner/lover. You are attracted to the false "security blanket" you believe this older man can offer you. Someone who will look after you, comfort you, maybe as a "father figure". I say false because in reality, it is. Eventually you will get bored with this relationship.
