Do Aspects in a birth chart mean anything? Do they also define me?

I was reading a birth chart and i read all the planets in my moon and pluto mercury sun and venus and stuff like that but there was also another part that said aspects in the planets and next to it said interpretation of the future well something like that do they mean anything at all that go with my personality, because on a aspect it said that my sun in jupiter made me unfaithful and i will have lots of amourus aventures??

Yes, aspects between planets are extremely important and contribute to your overall character and life path. However, it's worthwhile to pay more attention to the powerful aspects - conjunction, opposition, square and quincinx / inconjunct - since these have a far greater influence than trines, sextiles etc. The semi-square aspect can also be significant.

You should also pay particular attention to very tight aspects (within 2-3 degrees), and to aspects made to personal panets and angles, particularly the Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Midheaven, the planet which rules your Ascendant and the planet/s which rule your Sun's sign and house placement.
