Horoscopes or Astrology?

I know some of you might have already noticed, and we do get a lot of grief from people who don't "believe" in astrology that "there is a reason why it's under 'Entertainment'".

Fair enough I would say, but hasn't anyone ever noticed that it's not Astrology which is under Entertainment, but Horoscopes? Which are two completely different things, really...

And why do we all end up talking astrology in this section anyway, instead of horoscopes?

Shouldn't there just be an Astrology section in Yahoo!Answers?

Avondrow; there IS a difference;

Horoscopes are for entertainment purposes - like the odd Tarot card reading and going to psychics.

Astrology, however (just as much a pseudo-science as behavioural psychology is) is a deeper study and includes much more than horoscopes do.

Or just call it Astrology, but then you would have me giving all those people who come asking about their predictions for the week a lot of grief cos that's not what Astrology is about :p

Wikipedia is an informatic site nearly completely made by bits and pieces that anyone can contribute.

It is only checked every now and again, which can result in very faulty information most of the time.

I remember an incident when on the page about the Earth, someone changed the entire "history" of Earth and replaced it with something completely fictional. It gave me a good laugh, but it made me realise how trustworthy Wikipedia really is...
