Is tarot reading bad?

Some Christians (yes I am a Christian, but I don't feel this way) feel that tarot reading is a way of opening a door for bad spirits and demons to be able to hurt and posses you.

Now I have a psychic and I asked her about the tarot cards she uses. They are not dangerous. You use YOUR energy. You are not inviting spirits and anything else around to use there energy.

You cannot read for yourself or someone you are close to. Because if you try to read for yourself of someone you are close to, you will reflect how you feel on to the cards. If you are feeling optimistic, your will pull all the good cards, and if you are feeling pessimistic you will pull all the bad ones.

Now what IS bad is the Ouija board. You can ask yes or no questions, but after that when you ask for signs and "who" that entity is, it's an all out invitation for anything to come into your space and hurt you.
