Is this scorpio guy shy or uninterested? how will i know?
he seems to have no problem talking/conversing with everyone else (friends/co-workers), male or female. when it's just us, he doesn't say much. if we have things to talk about, he'll look me in the eyes and we'll go at it, but if there isn't anything, he'll tend to look around a lot. is he nervous or shy around me??? i know he likes me very much and we have been together for a year.

Scorpios are the thinking type(male and female).He probably just enjoys wandering his mind in silence instead of running off at the mouth about bullsh*t.Hedoesn't talk unless he's got something good to say.My hubby tells me I'm like that..sometimes I don't talk much at all,other times I get in these talking moods where I have tons to say(usually build-up from all the thinking I've been doing).Don't pressure him....
