How do i get my Amethyst stone to bring me good luck?

Hey everyone now i know this may seem like a silly question to ask :-P but im just curious.... yesterday i brought a amethyst chevron stone to match my amethyst stone even though the stones arent magical i'd like to know how i can get them to bring me good luck as well as that special person into my life, is there a special way to get these stones to make it happen or do i just carry them around in my pocket and believe they will work

Just to add i also brought a jade stone as well but im unsure of which one to carry cause the amethyst does bring protection
