sign has nothing to do with it he was buzzed and just has sex his mind was not in control of his body, he was in lala land and just said words that floated through his mind. trying to say what you wanted to hear might have been why but that had no thought behind it, just a way of thanking you. if he really means it he will use your name when he says it. most importantly though he will be sober.
