Is it stupid to believe in horscopes?!

Is it stupid to believe in horscopes?

i'm cancer the crab and i really think it matches me a lot but i dont know if i should believe in it. Are they really true?

This kind of belief needs to be analyzed, because it is not the same as religious belief or the belief in a moral principle. I have had the fortunate opportunity to be instructed by a professional jyotish (Indian astrologer) and I felt honored, blessed, and grateful for all of the lessons and/or information gained, but I felt sorry for him, because he asked me, "Do you believe in it?" I only said, "Yes," because I wanted him to share his knowledge, but I now conclude, after all of the information learned, that he should have asked me, "Do you understand it?" which would have helped his cause more, because belief separates the believers from the non-believers only. it does not allow anyone to grow, be skeptical, learn new concepts, or acquire new perspectives. I don't think it is stupid to believe in them, but it would be stupid to believe in it without being able to understand it.
