Friendship astrologically speaking,... gonna work or not?

I used to be close friends with a friend for about 30+ years ..but, when others used to ask mem, what signs we were...they would act stunned..."you are are Libra and she's a Taurus? Are you playing me?!?" ( I never understood what they meant...but, I have had a smidge of glimpses here and there.....I am assuming that they mean that Tauruses and Libra's do not mix and should NEVER attempt friendship at all? Is this correct?
and why?

Also, I have a hard time with Capricorns....they are difficult for me as well!
Any reasons why?

P.S. I ended the long time friendship..she was VERY bossy,and manipulative..and wanted things all HER way...and it could be impossible at many times! She still acts like this! It used to drive me absolutely nuts!!!! I hated it! She is the type of person whom if we got severely lost somewhere..she would NEVER ask a gas station attendant or get help or read a map...etc..She was a BULL! ARRGH!

For your information.. to the first answerer..I DID always ask...other for help, I tried to get HER to stop being such a "fraidy cat"! She has only asked for help like once..or something like that, anyhow!

Extra info: She has a vindictive and really negative attitude about stuff..(she always said to me " I really don't care what other people think about me, this is their problem" but in reality, I think that she DID mind, in fact, alot!
Here is one example: She works for a huge university..and she is one of the types of people that reads the acceptance essays (to get into the university).she read one with her co-worker .The essay was written by a person whom had tormented her childhood, for many years...She held her grudge,and decided NOT to let this young woman get accepted by the university for the way that my friend had been hurt by her(when both
of them had been children and this woman was now an adult!)The odd thing is that my ex-friend used to tell me, all of the time,"People grow up,and people change! They are NOT the same people that they once used to be!"(Unfortunately my friend couldn't practice this preaching!)

That makes no sense.She was a bully to herself.You shouldve asked for directions for yourself.You sound very dependant.

This is why people will tell you to always come prepared and take things into your own hands.You will never have to answer or be lead, if you are self-sufficient.
