Is there any correlation of attraction based on one sign being a male sign, say Aries; and the other sign being a female sign, say, Scorpio?

Yes... definitely! There is a wonderful book called "Love Signs" by Linda Goodman, and it's all about male and female zodiac sign combinations and compatibility. It's a very enlightening, classic book that was written about 30 years ago, and today it is as popular as ever. I first discovered it as a teenager, and my friends and I had a total blast with it in junior high when approaching our first "love" encounters...
