I'm a Scorpio. From personal experience, on scale of 1 through 5, (1 being bad, and 5 being excellent), it's about a 3.
There is definite potential of being friends, but both signs are extremely stubborn during an arguement. They can teach each other a lot of things too, partly because they're completely opposite signs. Often its a battle of the wills and neither of the signs are ready to back down! A Taurus and a Scorpio need to learn to give and take with each other.
