Using horary astrology, am I going to be a millionaire?!

Question:

Using horary astrology, am I going to be a millionaire?

I define being a millionaire as having at least is one million dollars.
I guess that can be predicted both with horary astrology and natal astrology. The date and place when the question was asked 9:19 p.m. July 7, 2007 in Bogota, Colombia. My date and places of birth if you want to use natal astrology are 5:30 am. September 11, 1983 in Bogota, Colombia.

Hi,

I am a practising horary astrologer and in order to be a 'valid' horary question it must meet certain criteria including the following:

It must be a 'sincere' question. Some people interpret this as being something very burning that you have been thinking about seriously for at least 'one sleep' - some people say longer! However I personally just think you must be asking the question because you really do want to know the answer. This may sound silly but you have no idea how many smart @ss people out there say 'right - I've got one for you' as soon as they hear about horary, i.e. just for testing or curiosity purposes regarding the actual mechanism of horary itself, or the capability of the astrologer, rather than because they really want to know the answer.

I am not suggesting for one minute, this is you, but I must make this clear all the same.

Another important thing is that the question must have a reasonable chance of going either way. So a 20 year old person without any major impediment asking 'will I get a job' is not really a good question because to all intents and purposes the chances of the querent never ever having a job is extremely unlikely. The problem is this question is open ended and what we would want to see is 'will I get a job in career X within the next 6 months/1 year/some other reasonable timescale.

Questions must be very specific and closed-ended.

So in your case if you have 'a plan' and are keen enough to work at it - perhaps already on the way towards it and not just asking to see if it will 'just happen', then fine you can ask this question, but you would have to add a timescale - your own timescale which you deem to be reasonable based on your life, your abilities, what you are already doing to work towards this goal etc.

Often people make a mistake with this. 'Will I meet the man of my dreams within the next 3 months'. Okay what if the answer is 'no'? (And if you haven't met him in the last 15 years, then let's face it what are the chances that the next 3 months just so happen to be those specific 3 months during which something totally extraordinary is going to hapen?!) Now you're gonna come back and say 'okay, let's go for 6 months now? WARNING: NO CAN DO!!!!

So the timescale must be as generous as the amount of effort/work you are prepared to give this goal.

One small aside - in horary astrology the important time and place is the time and place when/where the astrologer reads and understands the question - not when/where the querent asks it.

But what a treat - coming on here and reading a question on horary (my great passion!) You're getting a star for that!!

If you would like to discuss this further, please feel free to send me a message via Yahoo Answers.
