What does this mean?

This is my horoscope for today---"The nearer your destination, the less sure you are that you actually want to arrive. Hey, that's normal. Sometimes the fear of success is a lot stronger than the fear of failure. The goal will be worth it eventually".What does that mean?My horoscope for the other day said "People come in my life at the right time and leave at the right time".What does that mean?Be'cuz I dont feel like they do,Yes my boyfriend came in my life at the right time,but he left at the wrong time,he passed away.Can anyone tell me what those 2 horoscope's mean?

The horoscope in the paper is based only on your sun sign, and you are much more than that. You are your moon sign (how you react emotionally), your venus sign (the things you appreciate), your mars sign (the things you find worth fighting for) etc. Without a horoscope based on your particular natal chart (time of day, latitude/longitude) it is just a generalization.

Likewise for daily transits. The day to day stuff is so general, that the general horoscope can only hope to affect some people.

The sayings are old ones. The nearer your destination, the less sure you are that you may actually want to arrive. It means that somethings we think we want something, only when we are about to get it, we are not so sure we want it anymore.

Sometimes the fear of success is a lot stronger than the fear of failure. It means that we often have two fears, we are usually afraid of failure. But sometimes, we have fears about succeeding because if we do succeed, it is going to change our lives, put more demands upon us. Example: A test paper. If you fail, that is really bad. But if you make an "A", then won't that be expected of you every time? What if you are not willing to commit to making an "A" on every paper? Of course, this is just an analogy, and may not apply to you, but it was an example I thought of right off the bat.

People come and people go, I am sure that this wasn't aimed at the fact your bf has passed. I am so sorry you have had to go thru that! However, my Dad had a very similar saying: One door never closes that another doesn't open.
It means that better things will come to you.

Back to your bf, because I am sure this is bothering you. It was his time to go. There was nothing you could have done to change things. We never know why these things happen, we just have to understand that it is not ours to decide. It is always tragic when a young person's life is cut short. I can see no good that will come from this. But know that he will be on earth for a short period of time, and you need to let him know that you loved him and it's okay for him to go toward the light. That is where he needs to be. He needs to know that you are going to be okay. It is hard for him too, especially since he can see all those people he loved grieving over him.

So I don't think the horoscope was referring to him, I think it was just a fluke that such a thing came out in your time of mourning. In time, you will find love again. The period of grieving is different for each person. You have to know that he would want you to be happy. Once we cross to that other side, we see things differently.
