Grand Trines, T-Squares and Grand Squares?!
Question:
Grand Trines, T-Squares and Grand Squares?
How do I know if I have Grand Trines/T-Squares/Grand Suqares is my natal chart? And what does it mean actually? Is there any website that can analyze and find any of these 3 for you?
Thank you so much for the reply :-)

Your best source of information on the various configurations are books.
The poster above me pretty well outlined the three and I agree with most of what she said. Let me add a few details:
A grand trine often represents an old soul. Things often come to them unbidden, they may be lucky. There is an orb of up to 8 degrees, so the planets don't have to be at the same exact degree to be in aspect.
A T Square often doesn't produce much tension unless the empty leg of the configuration is filled in by a transiting planet. Then to be a major event, it would have to be a major transit accompanied by a major progression. In other words, it is not likely to cause any bad life changing events, just some tension in the area of life where the void sits.
A Grand square is a very dynamic position! Far from being difficult, individuals with this configuration are often galvanized into action. Some of the most intellegent, successful people I have known have grand squares in their chart.
Some of the old authors did a better job of explaining the patterns in astrological charts. Chart Interpretation Handbook: Guidelines for Understanding the Essentials of the Birth Chart by Stephen Arroyo is a good one as is Relationships & Life Cycles: Astrological Patterns of Personal Experience by the same author.
This is a site that explains the configurations:

There is no write up on the grand square (aka grand cross)
Enjoy!
