I am a pisces and I love cancers. Two of my best friends were cancers. Cancers would probably make good love matches for picses, too, but I didn't marry a cancer.
One thing I think these two have to guard against though would be depression. I think both can tend to be melancholy at times, and you don't want to always be dragging the other person down, or them dragging you down.
I think they are totally compatible, but compatible doesn't always mean you bring out the best in each other.
In my case, I chose a partner who I knew would always push me to get out and grow in other directions. Cancer and pisces may tend to get too complacent staying within their comfort zones, so make a little effort to get out and try new experiences with each other.
