Question:
Eggs and double yolks.?
I cracked an egg and it had a double yolk, next day I cracked two eggs and both had double yolks, this freeked me out as I have never seen a double yolk before - just wondering what this is supposed to mean according to superstition?

There's several superstitions attached to this phenomenon. One is abundance in creativity. Another is the idea that you are going to have twins (if pregnant.) If not pregnant, you may be at a very fertile time of your life. One myth I found attached the double-yolked egg to death but I find that very hard to fathom given the overall emphasis on the egg as a symbol of life and fertility.
Like others said, there are types of chickens known for producing double-yolked eggs so maybe that is all it is. :-)
