I have a capricorn ASC and a strong saturn - can i not be bubbly?

Society loves extroverts

Although I am born under an extroverted sign (Libra)
saturn is the ruler of my ASC and is exalted in Libra conjunct my sun/pluto. And these are at the midheaven.

I am quiet and serious, and I find it conflicts my sun - it can't find true expression.

Furthermore I have a Libran stellium
Saturn and venus square each other

What do you think I should do?
Exhibit saturn or venus?

i really appreciate that!
When i was a young child, before 12, my libran traits were more prominent, but it just got harder and harder..
at some point capricorn took over but i didnt think i could cope that well (perhaps my libra stellium needed really light,congenial relations)

i think i understand what you're talking about
saturn is in my10th and conj most of my major planets including sun and venus

the "real" world is hard for me,and people seldom understand it.

I appear tough,objective and veryvery detached;
can'thelp it unfortunately and as
chask says it is me-
i feel very deeply but seldom show it
I dislike superficiality and injustice -

and a virgo moon just gives me the "liberty" to analyse and criticise to death,mostly of myself

i know i have to get past the saturn hurdle...
i cant believe how hard it is; yet everyone goes through it

I have thought about law but instead was drawn to psychology - perhaps it's my moon..
So there are 3 directions - business, psychology and law.. i feel like i belong a little to each yet not fully..
I know my chart is pretty heavy, yet I'm not even halfway there yet.. woop, unsure of any obligations to fulfil for my chart..

Thank you so much for your heads up and positive affirmations..
there is a down side to achievement, and it might be succumbing to saturn's reigns and just giving up. my 'scales' have dipped both sides, and i know the other side of the scale is so much easier..
I have neptune in the 12th, and i prefer that place, honestly..

I studied my chart intensely because i was not a kid with a clear sense of direction..
people tend to push me around instead of guiding me because i so easily "yielded" to authority..

I would say i didn't really have a very strong figure to mould myself towards, and whatever i learnt in childhood is not very relevant to my adulthood.

I still admire people who know what they want and stick to it - my libran nature is oscillating and very "indecisive".. one option seems as good as the next, yet I feel I won't be happy doing only one thing..

My astrology skills are still nowhere as good as yours - I don't tie my thoughts so succintly and neatly as you do,

and furthermore, i really am only familiar with my chart and charts of people I have studied.
If you ask me about pisces or geminis i would confidently tell you that I know little beyond sun sign logic ;)

I know precisely what you mean.

I have the Sun in the very extroverted sign of Leo, but both my Sun and Venus are strongly aspected by my Saturn. Particularly when I was very young, I felt there was something distinctly wrong. I had all this energy and passion I wanted to express, but something always held me back. When I tried to express my more extroverted Leo traits, I would start feeling odd, uncomfortable and self-conscious. I was known to be shy and quiet and I hated it, because I knew there was this other fun-loving side to me.

Showing my true Leo nature has gotten much easier as I've gotten older. In fact, I didn't truly begin to feel in touch with my Leo Sun till I was in my thirties. Saturn rules time and age, so anything that Saturn touches takes time to master and improves with age.

My best advice is to allow the Saturn/Capricorn influences in your chart to express themselves, because frankly, I don't think there is much choice in the matter. Saturn is pretty powerful and it is affecting those areas of your chart which influence how you appear to the world, such as your Ascendant, Sun and Midheaven. I believe that, over time, your Libra stellium, which is just as powerful, will be allowed to express itself more freely. As I mentioned earlier, with Saturn, everything comes with maturity.

Personally, I think the Libra/Capricorn combination is an interesting one. The Capricorn would add a level of maturity and stability to the Libra charm and grace. But as every Libran would instinctively know, it's a matter of finding that happy balance between the contrasting traits.

It's interesting that you felt more Libra when you were much younger. I think the main reason for this is not only your large Libra stellium, but also the fact that you have so many of your most important planets in Libra, including the ruler of your Ascendant, Saturn, and the ruler of your Sun sign, Venus.

Perhaps it was this over-identification with your Libra side early in life that has led to the Capricorn influences asserting themselves so strongly now. I touched earlier on the issue of balance. I believe even more strongly now that a major part of your life path as a Libran is to find that happy balance between these two obviously powerful and contrasting sides of your character.

With your Moon in the 8th house, it doesn't surprise me at all that you have a deeply emotional nature. The 8th house is also the most secretive of houses, so it is likewise not surprising that this emotional side has remained hidden from the world.

I have a Virgo Moon as well (plus a Virgo stellium) and it makes me very self-critical too. But that's good for my Leo Sun, since it stops it from getting too arrogant :)

With so much emphasis on Libra as well the 9th and 10th houses, have you ever considered a career in Law? Your chart seems to indicate a strength and talent in this area. As you doubtlessly know, Libra rules the law and matters of justice. The 9th house is also related to the law and courts. A strong 10th house, moreover, indicates the potential for fame and public recognition.

It is true that having an emphasis on Saturn and Capricorn in the chart can mean having to put alot of effort into life and attaining your goals, but it also means the potential for great success and remarkable achievement.

All those professions suit your chart very well. It's true, your interest in psychology would partly stem from your 8th house Moon in Virgo, which would enjoy investigating all that is complex, mysterious and hidden in the mind. However, this interest is also stemming from your 9th house Venus (Sun sign ruler) and Mercury (mind planet), since this house rules psychology. Your interest in business is stemming from your Capricorn/10th house influences.

Your understanding of astrology is impressive and I would call your chart "strong". As I mentioned earlier, it's the chart of someone who has great potential for achievement on many levels, including career and relationships. You are very lucky to have the 9th house influences as well. The 9th house rules good fortune.
