Should I switch to drums?!

Question: Should I switch to drums!?
ok, im leaving my old band where i use to play bass guitar!.!.!. the reason i left is because the band was screwed up: we had 2 lead guitarist (cuz niether wanted to b rythm), an over-confident drummer who thinks he's the leader and me, the bassist with a 12 watt amp!. none of us had any microphones and we didnt want a 5member band by adding a singer!. i thought one of our guitarist said he'd sing, but he seems like he's just into guitar!.!.!.!. they all say theyre serious about the band but it doesnt seem like it!. i wanna join a new band with people who are as commited to the band as me!.!.!. but i just realized: i have a bass guitar with a 12watt!.!.!.!. i will not get far with that if a band wants me to join or if i start a new one, BUT i have a drumset!. i have been playing drums for a while (not as long as bass though)!. i bought the drumset along time ago cuz my parents said i should get it instead of a new guitar or bass ( i have two guitars and two basses!.!.!.) since i dont have much to be (or at least look like) a professional bassist cuz i only got a 12watt and no money what so ever, im really considering switching to drums for a new band!. my question is: should i!? this is no offense to drummers but: they dont get that much attention and i don tthink anyone cares for the drummers!.!.!.!.!. i mean, even when i go watch a band play, i notice the people in the front, mostly the singer!.!.!. what i mean is, i dont wanna perform in front of people at my skool, and later people would say, "that band isawsome! you were in it!? sorry i didnt notice you!.!.!." should i switch to drums or stay a bassist!?!?!? will a 12watt be ok!?!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
You're being ridiculous, and I doubt anyone will respect you for your decision!. Sorry to be harsh but music isn't about getting famous, and a lot of people look at the drummer, the drummer is actually the 2nd most noticed aside from whomever is singing!.
Either way if you're going to give up something you should be in love with for something else to be in a different band, but conflicted because you think you wont be famous you shouldn't be playing anything! Play what you enjoy!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

In all honesty, if you're in it to get noticed, you're screwed as both a bassist and a drummer, unless you really excel at it!. Stop thinking about getting yourself noticed in the band and just play whatever instrument you like making music on the most!. Many new bands fail because the members are in it for themselves too much!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

you should start by learning something about music, because you obviously know nothing!.

First order of business, get Rock Band 2, or Guitar Hero World TourWww@Enter-QA@Com

people who say no one will respect you for something means they don't respect you, and besides, drums are more fun that anything, besides piano or guitar :PWww@Enter-QA@Com

switch to drums!.!. drummers are hotter!. they just don't get as much attention!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

yesWww@Enter-QA@Com

sure!.!.!.u can bang them anytime!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Drums very good!. Keep beat for others and get to sit down while playing!. Take up lots of space though and time to set them up!. Play good drums and people will notice just as much but more for talent and not so much for acting like bighead fool!. Bass with 12watt amp not very good!.

Try drums or sell/trade kit or other guitar and buy big bass amp!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

depends, do like the drum more or the bass!. drummers are awesome cause if u ever watch a drummer play they look pretty pimp!. bass usually is pretty cool too it's like rhythm except it's more low and deep!. both doesn't get as much focus as the lead singer so don't worry about it!.

watch concerts like bass solos and drum solos on youtube!.

what type of musics u listen to!?

concerts aren't everything, listen to tracks which parts sticks to u more!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
