Help with exchanging a show ticket to another day?!
Question: Help with exchanging a show ticket to another day!?
I booked tickets for Phantom of the Opera for my boyfriends xmas presant!. but when I got the tickets I realised that i booked the show in the middle of my exam week!. However I checked the terms and conditions of the website to see if i could change to another date!.!. and this is what it says about exchanging tickets!?
"REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES – Tickets
If you book an Attraction, Show, Entertainment, Sporting Event, Restaurant or Tour, which is date specific, the tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged unless the performance is cancelled!. Seatem acts as an agent only and has no control over the event!. The event organiser/venue reserves the right to cancel or abandon any performance/event without notice and without being liable to pay compensation or damage other than at it's sole discretion up to a maximum of the ticket price!. "
Now does it mean!.!. that I can exchange the tickets to another date because there are so many other dates available or does it mean that I cannot exchange atal!.!? Please help because Im panicking that Ive lost out on so much money!?

You cannot exchange the ticket unless the show is canceled!. That is what that statement means!. So you may not exchange the ticket for another date!.
However, some people opt to sell the tickets!. If you cannot find someone to buy the ticket, I would suggest attempting to sell the tickets on ebay for somewhat less than you bought them for so they're more likely to be sold!. Then once the tickets are gone, go through schooltix!.com to buy tickets on an appropriate date!. Schooltix will allow you to get the tickets at about a 40% discount, therefore the money lost selling the tickets for cheaper will be made up for!.
