Are there any tricks to getting one finger to press down multiple guitar strings!
Question: Are there any tricks to getting one finger to press down multiple guitar strings!?
I am beginning guitar and am fine on all of the 1:1 finger to string ratios, but am having trouble when I am supposed to press down 2, 3, or 4 strings with one finger for a given chord!.
Are there any tricks I should know about to get all the strings to sound or will it just come with time and practice!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

getting your thumb in the correct position on the back on the neck is important, as is getting your finger right in the middle of the two frets!. you can do finger strengthening exercises too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Just practice man!.
Eventually the skin will harden up and it wont be so uncomfortable!. It's easier on an electric but I assume you're playing an acoustic!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Lay your finger across the fretboard or bend your finger inward at the knuckle!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
