Take a look at Spotlight, they help youngsters get into the lime light!.
If you're going for auditions for theatre performances etc, make sure you have a contemporary piece (20th Century onwards) and a classical piece (such as Shakespeare)!.
Always best with a monologue or a soliloquy!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't know of any places but for tips for an audition
1!. Stay cool (i know every one says that)
2!. familiarize your self with the character
3!. if possible know the lines well enough that you can say some with out the script
4!. if you don't get the role you want or any role at all keep practicing or see if you can help out backstage and lear from the other actorsWww@Enter-QA@Com
