Guitar is weirdly messed up..?!

Question: Guitar is weirdly messed up!.!.!?
i got a used guitar offline about 3 weeks ago and when i first got it, it was pretty much tuned!. i played it for about a week and a half and got and tuner and everything for it and started to learn to play and everything!. then i tried to drop c [like change all the chords to play a certain song] and it didnt sounds right!. so then i just changed it and tuned it back to normal!. but now it doesnt sounds the same!. i mean each chord to me sounds like its just a little bit off either a little teeny bit higher or lower then it should be, yet the tuner says the sound and everything is perfect!.

i cant figure out why it sounds just a bit different, when i play it
yet the tuner says its right!?
it's only a little difference, but it bothers me
does anyone know what it possible could be from!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Sounds like it could be the intonation!. When you tuned it lower, the strings probably seated different, and when you tuned it back, it screwed up your intonation!. Basically, using a tuner, the string should be in perfect pitch when played open, and perfect pitch when played on the 12th fret!. maybe the strings and neck are warped because of too much heat or something!. mine does it all the time like when i play the low e string, it will register as b!. my friend to me about the warping thing so maybe thats it!. good luck on it though! :DWww@Enter-QA@Com

When you tune a guitar especially electric even though the strings are metal it is a fragile - thus they can easily break!

Tuning the guitar in and out could take time!. It could also be just the design of the guitar - in my opinion it could be the design all together that's out of tune!.

Acoustic guitars are great for this reason - in my experience they are fierce when it comes to making them go out of tune versus an electrical guitar!.

I'd definitely also suggest tuning an electric guitar with an amp!. I have tortured myself hours on end trying to tune an acoustic electric guitar to no end!.

It could be that I don't like the guitar that is just a matter of taste - but I have yet to try it out with an amp!.

All I know is with electrical they can go out of tune quick if your not careful you can break the string - the strength of the string itself is it's range I do believe!.

tuning it up and down several times or more (it could take hours) for you to 'teach' or tighten the string where you want it to go!. Elasticity still applies even in mechanics!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
