Question: Is the french horn hard to play!.!.!.!?
i am in 8th grade and i have been playing the flute for 2-3 years!. i would like to learn how to play the french horn!. at my school they have a french hornn that no one is using in the music department so i would like too learn how to play the french horn!. this is good because then i know how to play 2 different instruments and this will really benefit my band cause we have to many flute players and not enough french horn players!. lol!. so pleasee tell me everything u know about thee french hornn and can you also tell me how much a mouth piece for a french horn would be andd how hard the french hornn is to leaarn

if you have played something else, it shouldn't be too hard!. Horn is all about hearing the pitches before you play!. Open valves can yield G C E G B C D E G!. You have to know where you are going when you play a note!. This is why its so hard for beginners!. If you really want to do it buy yourself a Farkas MC mouthpiece!. It should be $40-50 but it is a quality mouthpiece that will not handicap your learning like a cheap one might!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
