What price should I charge for my DVD?!
Question: What price should I charge for my DVD!?
Hi,
I have recently been on a tour with a County Youth Orchestra!. I recorded the entire tour including all concerts and social activities using 3 camcorders for differing angles!.
The total cost of production was in the range of £1500 (we had to pay to go on the tour and with hire costs for equipment and software etc)
The DVD is 2 and a half hours long, on 2 light-scribed discs and a colour DVD label!.
This is the 4th DVD I have produced for this particular orchestra (the others being priced between 6 and 8 pounds), but this DVD is my most complicated and professional yet taking me 187 hours to edit and render and 20 minutes to burn each complete 2 disc box!.
What price would you expect to pay considering this!?
(Please be sensible!.!.!.!)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
The price for anything is based on the demand and market for it!. It's better to sell 100 for 2 quid each than only 20 for 5 quid each!. The first gets you 200, while the second only gets you 100!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
One buck sounds logical and that seems pretty sensible to me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
