Having a nightclub theme party and need help with music!

Question: Having a nightclub theme party and need help with music
I would like to have the music play automatically from my computer, but is there a program of some kind that will allow me to edit/shorten my music and do some sort of crossfade/gapless playback!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
you can edit songs with Audacity (free downloads available online) but it's hard, i've tried!. i recommend simply using whatever music player you have on your computer!. if you have itunes or windows media player you can do this for easy nightclub-remix sounding music:

~iTunes:
1-make your playlist in the order you want it or set it to shuffle the playlist (try techno, electronic, dance, etc!. but you probably already have songs in mind)
2-go to edit in the menu on top and then to prefferences!. click the playback tab in the pefferences window!. check crossfade and you can make up to 12 seconds of the end of the song fade into the beggining of the next song!. you can also try out the sound enhancer which can be checked right below the crossfading option in the playback section!.
3- go to view on the top menu in itunes and click show equalizer!. check it on if it is checked off!. there should be arrows that when clicked show a dropdown menu of genres!. try whatever you want, for a club theme you might want electronic or bass booster, but just check them all out and see what you like!.

~windows media player:
1-make your playlist in the order you want it or set it to shuffle the playlist
2-in the menu on the top go to view and then enhancements and then cross fading and autovolume leveling (or whatever looks closest to that in case you have a different edition than me) you can make songs fade into each other for like 10 seconds so that when a song ends it will begin fading and the next will begin fading in (make sure you preview this effect: sometimes it can sound weird and you might want to order your songs differently to get better fade combos)
3-in enhancements go to SRS WOW effects!. for a more dance club sound put the tru bass and WOW effect up to the maximum!. (again make sure to listen to it before the party and make sure it sounds good on all the songs, if it sounds good on some and not on others, you can always manage it during the party)
4-in enhancements go to the graphic equalizer and click reset!. then you can play with it but it is much easier and probably better to just look at where it says default (or some music genre) and there is a downword arrow!. click the arrow for a dropdown menu of different music genres including dance and techno, i think techno sounds better but you can try whatever you want!.

hope this helped and is easy to follow!. have fun at your party!Www@Enter-QA@Com
