You're 17 are you!?! Well how about you start acting like it!? When I was 17, I could write in coherent sentences, with punctuation, proper grammar and syntax!. I didn't use this 'text talk' as mobile phones hadn't really been invented (well they had, but they were the size and weight of a house brick and they were purely for making calls - SMS hadn't been invented)!.
The 9 year old next door could construct a better sentence and spell better than you obviously can! If you tell me you're doing English A-Level, well that'll be the last bit of my confidence in the UK and Irish education systems shaken!
So that's 2 mad things you could start doing: -
1) Act your age
