true, they were both amazing, but i do believe that heath did do a better job!. he had to play an extremely dark and crazy character!. for some actors, that would be hard to pull off, but he did and he did it with flying colors!. gary oldman did a great job playing his cop character, but anyone could play that role, maybe not as well as oldman, but they could do it!. i just think that the fact that ledger's performance was one that very few could pull off, made it an even better performance!.
also, if ledger was not dead right now, more people would probably think that oldman did a better job, but i think that the fact that he is dead makes his performance stand out even more!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Both did outstanding jobs but Gary Oldman was a bit more "jokerish"!. Where as Heath took the character to a new level, so yes you are right but the other answer are correct too!.!.!.also !.!.!.although they are both Batman movies the newer ones are darker so of course the characters are darker then the originalsWww@Enter-QA@Com
