Glasonbury festival has gone down hill tbh!. I dont think its about what kind of bands play, its just what kind of people they turn down now!.
My dad used to live in Glastonbury and we used to go there on holiday every year when I was little, Ive never been to the festival myself, but my parents have!.
The vibe in Glasontbury itself has changed completely in the past few years, its not the same as it used to be, and I think thats partly to do with the festival, It just feels diffirent there!.
But annyway, dad was telling me a story the other night about how when the Levellers where playing, the security people acctually turned down a load of hippy/crustie [sp!?] types from even entering the festival, just because they where crusties!. Completely unfair!. Annyone should be allowed in, they paid, al they wanted was to see Levellers play!.!.!. just like everyone else pays to see their artists play!.
Everythings changed!.

Glasto has always had rap artists, Dr Dre and Black Eyed Peas were there a few years ago, before that there was Cypress Hill and Afrika Bambatta!. is there a problem here!?

I think that's why all the tickets didn't sell!. Glasto is not about rap!!!
I went a fair few years ago when the tickets were dead cheap and nothing more that ￡1 in my pocket!. we lived off mango tea the whole weekend, it was great!. No mud either lol!. Its been tipping down again today, so looks like another wet one:(
