Question: Looking to buy my first electric guitar!!?
Hey everybody! I'm looking to buy my first electric guitar, and I've decided I want to buy a used nicer model for a better value!.
I've watched a lot of reviews and videos and have decided the the Epiphone Les Paul Standard (Cherry Sunburst) is a hot-looking guitar with just the sound I love! I love the variety that the guitar brings, and how it can play blues all the way to metal!. However, just to make sure, I'm going to go into a guitar shop to test out some guitars!.
I'm trying to buy a used Epiphone Les Paul Standard and a small practice amp for $400 (if anyone knows of a deal like this, hook me up!), and I have a couple of questions:
-Is this deal possible since the guitar new is ~$430-450!?
-Are there any problems with this guitar!? Does it get out of tune easily!?
-How can I tell the difference between a cheap Epiphone Les Paul (say the Special II) and a standard Epiphone Les Paul in case I am getting ripped off!?
