Question: Why are the higher powers that be in the media, inducing shallowness and bad values to the world!?
They have the money, brains, power, technology, etc, so why are they inducing mass shallowness, conformity, commercialism, shallowness, etc etc and the list goes on and on!.

Controlling a weak mind is easy!. Controlling a strong one is not!. We as Amerians have the right to elect our leaders!. That is one of our founding principals!. However the vast majority of Americans are so remarkably ignorant of domestic affairs, yet alone world affairs-to be trusted to make any kind of rational decision!. The founding fathers knew this, it was called "tyranny of the masses"!. We are given the illusion of power as a people!. A political genius' ideas on government would probably work, yet his vote is equal to one vote of a complete ignoramus' vote!. If two ignoramuses vote agaisnt the canidate he chose, his vote, though based on careful calculation, will be worthless, and we will end up with another "Dubya"!.
Adolf Hitler said in Mein Kampf, that propaganda targets the lowest of intelligence!. Whereas people like you, Luke, will immediately write off an ad with a waving flag and the national anthem off as propaganda, milliions of others are standing in line with tears in their eye because they were swayed by such a simple act!. Propaganda is everywhere, your children are exposed to it on a daily basis, thousands of times a day!. It is engrained in our mentality from an early age!. To the point where people will vehemently defend even the most bizzare and idiotic ideas because they were never exposed to anything else!. Acts like the flag burning act, seen by those with common sense as just a tactic to rally support behind a faltering administration, was seen by many more of the "9/11, wave the flag,us or them" sheep who believed wrongly that supporting such an idea was Patriotism!. These people still believe 9/11 was an attack on our freedoms and ideas!. False!. It was an attack that demonstrated our failed foregien policy!.
The quickest way to weaken a mind is to close it!. That is what the media does, at least to anything that is important!.
Without looking it up-how many can name the president of Iran!? How about the Origin of Osama Bin Laden-where is he from, and how did his family acquire wealth!? What does the "stan" mean in Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Tajikistan!?

As I have told you before, people are focused too much on the exterior, seeing what they want to and turning a blind eye to what they do not!. The Media is paid to entertain us, first and foremost!. That involves isolating us into groups and keeping us ignorant of others!. We are "entertained" by our perceived differences!. Liberals and Conservatives, Republican and Democrats, Pro and Anti gun control, you have become divided, and forgotten the only factor that matters-we are human, and have every right to think the way we do, even if someone disagrees!. You scream and yell, without ever considering the other side's point of veiw, only acting hostile to what you think to be wrong!.
If the media showed what really mattered, people would walk away, bored!. People have no interest in their own government-and that is pathetic!. CNN!? FOX!? NBC or CBS!? No takers!? Oh, that's right, you need ratings!. What about Britany Spe-WOW, already!!? Man that's fast! Your ratings just doubled! Impressive!
