get a cheap, but good brand (fender yamaha epiphone make good cheap ones) ACOUSTIC guitar!.
beginning guitarists should start with acoustic to really strengthen fingers and work on getting a clean sound, and overall dexterity and coordination, which can't be achieved if you start out with an electric!.
anything you can play well (cleanly) on acoustic, you can play on electric!. but not vice versa!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
