Ibanez Rg volume pot wiring broken?!

Question: Ibanez Rg volume pot wiring broken!?
So today i was jamming w/ my friend and my volume knob had been kind of funny for the past 3 or 4 days where when i turn it to around halfway it was really tight while after halfway it was kinda loose, so i turned up the volume today and everything cut out, the wierd thing is is that if i turn the amp all the way up u can get this really soft clean sound but can barley ehar it, so i found that the volume wired came undone but then found out another wire was broken!.!.

1)do i repair this myself!? or hire someone as there are multpile wires and their deep inside

2)how much is the cost to hire someone to fiz it!?

3)is it garunteed that when the person fixes it it will be 100 percent good!? or will it be worth it to just get a new guitar!?

4)a guy at guitar center that what happened to the volume knob does that, is that true with ibanez's!? and if it isnt can i complain and mayeb exchange the guitar!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Any tech work always seems much more daunting and harder than it actually is!. You could give it a go yourself, what have you got to lose!? To get a guitar tech to take a look would cost around $60 probably!. It sounds to me like dry soldering!. Just get yourself a soldering iron, and some flux, and give it a go!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
