Question: Guitar Players!.!.!.!.!. Guitar String Questions!.!.!?
I have been playing guitar since I was 7!. I'm 14 now!.
My question is I bought the DR handmade Red Devils guitar strings and I was wondering for the people who use them how long do they usually last b4 breaking!?
and also If you have never used them I'd like to hear where I could find out how long they last!. or what strings you have used that last for a really really long time!.

DR makes awesome string, how long they last however depends on many things, like do you wipe them off after you play!. The style you play, the strength of pick, the acid content of your system!.
Compare them to the regular strings you used before, they will probably last 2 to 3 times that amount of time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Never used DR strings!.!.!.!. It might interest you to know that many strings are made from the same manufacturer and they are then packaged to show the different brand names!. It's been a while since I knew which ones so I can't answer that question!.!.!.!.
I would say no strings are immune to breaking if they are going through the stresses you are describing!. I can honestly say I've played it all and I have broken very few strings over the 45 years I've played!.
If you change them often you should be able to have the stretch you need!. If you use the right gauge you should be able to keep them from breaking!. If you check every place where the string rests (bridge, nut, whammy) for abrasions or sharp edges this will help you keep your strings from breaking!.
Honestly, if you are string breaker!.!.!. As many artist are who play metal music - your only hope is to get big enough to afford a roadie who can change your strings while you are performing!.!.!.!.
I would concentrate finding ways to preserve your strings from breaking!.!.!.
