Question: Does mexican fender guitars just mean that they're made in mexico!?

Answers:
Fender farms out the production of guitars to Japan and Mexico to save on productions costs!. This is done with two ideas!.!.!. Lower labor costs!.!.!. Use lower quality components!.

You have a stair-step thing happening!.!.!. MIM is the least well made!. Japan is the next level up!. American is the better models!.!.!. Of course the price goes up in the up-scaled sequence!.

I own an American made Super Strat circa 1989!.!.!.!. It's is a great instrument!. However, I have played some MIM and Japan made Fenders that were certainly passable!.

I hope I helped a bit!.

Yes, there are strats that are made in mexico (MIM) and strats that are made in Japan(typically called squier)!.!.!.and there are ones made in the US!.!.!.!.most people will tell you the ones that are made in the US are the best and i agree!. They are just made better and produce a better sound!. All strats will say where they are made on the headstock of the guitar!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
