Question: Ibanez Rg350MDX Or Ibanez GRG170!?
Well basically I need a new guitar!. I currently have a Fender Squire for about 2 years!.
And I feel that I should move on with a better guitar!.
I am stuck on two choise Rg350MDX or an Ibanez GRG170!.

I've been a guitar player for 45 years!.!.!. Yes, I am old - But I've played everything out there!.!.!. I even sold and serviced Ibanez guitars since the days of their start in USA!. I still think they are fine guitars!.!.!.!.
So, here's my answer!.!.!.!.!.
Generally, the guitar you choose depends on the style you are wanting to play!.!.!.
If you are going into heavy stuff like metal and you plan to do a lot leads with slides, whammy bar action and hammering, I would think you'd want the RG 350!.!.!.!.!. It has the Wizard fast action neck with maple fret board!.!.!. Hotter pickups and other features that will allow you to wham away at riffs, licks and chops!.
However, if you are general purpose guitar player - Yes playing riffs and chops (We'll let the pros do the licks!) but also rythym and combination chords, I would think you'd want to pick the GRG170!. The bound rosewood fretboard doesn't allow your fingers to slide as much so you won't sound out of tune!.!.!. The pickups are a bit weaker, but your amp can take care of that!. You have a choice of colors (Black is cool - but only if it is kept clean because black magnifies every speck of dust and all fingerprints!) The basic body makeup is the same on both models (basswood)!. And you'd be saving close to $200!
But if you are a shredder!.!.!.!. a lead run fanatic!.!.!. If you want to really rock and slide everywhere, do power drives with the whammy bar!.!.!. I would go the extra expense for the guitar built to tear up the stage!.!.!.!.
