What does "floor seats" at concert specifically mean?!

Question: What does "floor seats" at concert specifically mean!?
when a concert lists "floor seats" but NOT "general admission", does it mean that there's actually an assigned seat that you must sit in at the concert!? because who is going to stay in their little square footage of space for floor seats at a concert!? i can't see it being inforced!. can someone clarify this for me, because concerts for Coldplay are appearing this wayWww@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
In my experience, "floor seats" generally refers to an area on the floor right in front of the stage!. sometimes seat numbers are assigned, but generally people move around fairly freely!. Hope this helps!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
