Question: Being an Ex-Smoker, there are more & more fines popping up (which is good for non-smokers)!?
Two people had received a fine of $350 each for smoking 8 feet too close to a 7/11 store the other day!. My question is, realistically would you be charged less money if you were smoking pot!? (I know pot is illegal & you'd have a record or community hours), but would it be cheaper being fined for that instead of cigarettes!?

I believe also that it's too bad that there's not the same real pushy rules, fines, or advertising invested into drinking alcohol!.(especially drinking & driving!) My Ex is an alcoholic, & he cannot even go to watch our daughter play baseball without drinking beers in a pepsi can!. The Police have told me that there's nothing I can do until he gets caught!. What do I have to do, God forbid he kills my daughter or someone else because of his drinking!? I don't do either, I was just curious!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

That's the dilemma we face as parents, concerned citizens, and police officers!. Seems as if the lawmakers love to drink because they don't seem to touch that one!. In Tennessee, the fine for simple possession of marijuana is $250!.00!. Many municipalities have open container laws no matter what kind of container they are trying to hide it in!. Check with your local authorities!. Apparently, your local police are totally reactive and not proactive, which is unfortunate!. I prefer to get these people before they hurt someone! I had much rather breathe second hand smoke than have a drunk driver barreling at me!. also, contact your state senator or representative of even your local city council to see if the penalties for alcohol violations can be stiffened!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
