What are the different parts/components of a Banjo?!
Question: What are the different parts/components of a Banjo!?
I have a music assignment on a banjo-and i hardly know anything about them! i've got alot of info now, but it would reelly help is some1 could tell me the parts of the banjo- like wat its made up of!?!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

a banjo consists of the followin' parts!.!.!.
the body (or 'resonator')-it is always round!.!.the 'playing surface' (the flat part under the strings) is made of nylon and the rest is made of wood!.!.!.it has a metal bridge in the center and a removable clamp at the end for changin' strings!.!.!.
the neck (or 'fretboard')-is just like the ones on guitars; except the banjo neck has a tunin' peg about 3/4 of the way up!.!.!.
the head-where the other 4 tunin' pegs are located!.!.!.all banjos use 5 strings (and always metal strings)!.!.!.4 strings go the head; and the top string goes to the peg on the neck!.!.!.
and!.!.!.as an extra bonus: the banjo is the ONLY musical instrument that was invented in the united states!.!.!.all other instruments have their origins in europen countries!.!.!.
