like tatooine is a desert, naboo is like meadowy and temperate!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
It's safe to assume that Lucas' vision for Tatooine is similar to mars: it's a barren landscape!. Because of it's Twin Suns, the temperature of Tatooine is incredibly hot constantly, hence the reason that moisture has to be farmed with vaporators that absorb the little moisture out of the air that they can!.

Not all planets are this way, but the ones you see in the movies are!. The lore says that planets like Coruscant were similar to Earth, but through millenia of construction, the entire planet has been built over and over again with one giant city!.

The planet Bespin, from Episode V (where Cloud City is located), is like Jupiter!. It's a large gas planet, but the gas it is made up of is valuable and collected into large tanks for transport to other planets (this gas is called tibana gas)!.

My best guess would be that Naboo merely falls into a specific place where the weather can remain that constant over the entire surface of the planet!. There may be small polar ice caps at the top, but rendered images of the planet I've seen around the Internet aren't detailed enough to provide support for my claim!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
