Why the silly "Blade" cannot be categorized as a horror film?!

Question: Why the silly "Blade" cannot be categorized as a horror film!?
neither did Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman!. I only watched the DVDs one time and then I gave them away to my cousine on his birthday!. I do not need them for my cult collections

Iam a collector of the classic Horror DVD flicks from 1920 - 1985 (the last VHS collection I believe it was Salem′s Lot 1979 & its remake from 2004)

hope my two filmloyalists will be striking me back soon!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

!.!.!.!.although I must admit that I actually enjoyed the "Blade" series, as well as the Steven Sommers directed film, "Van Helsing", I have to agree with you as far as these films placement within the horror genre; over the years, the classic horror genre has progressively expanded, to included a very wide spectrum of sub-genres, that latest of which is, of course, called 'torture porn horror', which includes titles like "Saw", "Hostel" and "Touristas"!.!.!.!.!.

!.!.!.!.!.although well within the horror genre, the "Blade" movie series, as well as "Van Helsing" would closer fall within the horror sub-genre, applicably called 'action-packed, tongue-in-cheek-humored dark fantasy, with emphasized horror elements', which actually, is quite a mouthful to say!.!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
