I wouldnt let it charge no more then a hour!. i have a ipod and it only takesbout a hour to fully charge!. but if you want to be sure go to itunes!.com and it will have all the ipods click on tipod touch and maybe it will give you further instuctions!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
