It depends on the brand!. I go with Gibson rather Epiphone because it has the balls to play classic rock, or new rock!. I think the best person to play with a SG is Angus Young Lead Guitarist for AC/DC!. He has a Signature Guitar for $3,500 if you look at Guitar center!. I think you or anybody would do best with that guitar It has a rich tone!. Its a bit pricie but it'll do anything with no regret!. But I trust SG's!.
