A Question About Guitar Strings.?!

Question: A Question About Guitar Strings!.!?
I bought a pack of guitar strings at Guitar Center!.The Brand is
DRstrings!. How do I know which string is which!? I'm only missing the 6th and 4th!.

How Do I find out where the string belongs!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
The lower the number on the pack, the higher pitched the string!. also, the smaller size string (!.11 vs !.14) the higher pitched the string!. Your high E, for example, is probably anywhere from a !.09 to a !.12!. And it's probably labeled 1 somewhere!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Which direction are you counting!? The "sixth"will either be the thinnest steel string or the thickest brass string!. Four will either be the thinnest brass string (counting down towards the floor when you hold the guitar fingering with the left and and strumming with right!.) If you are going the other way, the fourth string will be the next to the smallest brass string!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

if you've bought a whole new set you should change all the strings!
old strings sound pooh compared to new ones!. plus the type of strings you had before mite not be the same and the new ones would stand out if u did a little clean chord!.

also if its a new guitar the strings u got with it are probably no good compared to ur new ones!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Do it by size!. Technically you are supposed to replace all the strings at the same time!. It gives the guitar a better tone and they will go out of tune at allmost the same time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

k, it goes from fat to skinney, eadgbe are the strings, fattest is e, then the a, and so on!. its simple, and its in the boxWww@Enter-QA@Com
