Okay, first of all it's not HD, it's just that all TV stations are going digital!. You'll be fine!. You can either get a cable box or satellite, however you don't need to buy a new TV!. They have a converter box at most retail shopping centers you can buy!. You hook it up to your TV and it will enable you to get the digital channels!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

well from my understanding is that for the DTV transition coming next February, you won't need a new tv set, or you wont need to get cable or Dish, all you need is to go to like Sears or Walmart and get a digital converter box!. plus you can get $40 coupons from the website!.

Its not about hdtv, its about digital!. The cable companies went to digital boxes for the tv about a year ago!. After Feb!. the tv's that recieve signal from antennas through the air (not through the cable companies) will not work anymore!. They will be broadcasting digital signals through the air and your tv that picks up signal through (rabbit airs or roof antennas) won't work anymore unless you get a digital box (which you can get a $40 coupon from the government to buy one) If you have cable tv, then you are not affected (since they switched already)Www@Enter-QA@Com
i was confused at this too hun, but i inquired at my nearby best buy and was told this!.!.!.!. i will not be able to pick up regular antennna reception after the deadline, but they will be selling a converter aprox!. $100, if you haven't yet purschased a new tv!.!.!.!.!.!.!.now if you have local cable service, they will continue to broad cast to you no converter needed what ever tv you haveWww@Enter-QA@Com
