If they want you bad enough they will give you what you want. But if that's the amount you want up front you should always request more than what you truly want. This way when it comes to haggling over the price you seem to settle for less than you wanted but actually get the amount your have planned on.
In your industry it will always be a draw which is an advance towards future earnings it's the only way they will give you the money
